The Sub-Station

Sub-station is the name given to the installations which link the central boiler plant and the buildings to which it supplies energy.
The sub-stations are delivery stations which are located in close proximity to the buildings supplied. The heat transported by the primary network is then redistributed through the secondary network via a heat exchanger, in order to provide heating and/or domestic hot water to all users.
