Heat-shrink end cap

Description :
The DHEC is a heat-shrink part made from cross-linked polyolefins. The DHEC was developed to seal the cut end of the polyurethane foam insulation between the main pipe and the outer casing, on pre-insulated pipe networks.

A DHEC must be used at each uninsulated interruption of the network (valve chamber, entering buildings, etc.) to prevent ingress of water inside the insulation. If the outer sheath is damaged or the tube leaks, DHECs limit damage to the insulation, preventing it from spreading along the network.

DHECs are designed so that they can be installed on a very wide range of tube diameters and insulation thicknesses.
