Bends
Description : Pre-insulated bends are mainly used to change direction or level and as expansion part (expansion loop, Z-bend). Various angles can be manufactured upon request. The ends of the main pipe are not insulated over a length of 150 mm. Welds on the HDPE sheath are made in the factory. Nordic or DELFIN alarm wires can be inserted into the insulation upon request. Special branch (...)

Bellows
Description : Pre-insulated, pre-stressed bellows are used to absorb the thermal expansions of the steel pipe and therefore keep the mechanical stresses on the steel pipe (and due to temperature variations) within permissible limits. Compensators are supplied prefabricated in the factory, ready for installation. The ends of the main pipe are not insulated over a length of 150 mm. Welds on (...)

Reducers
Description : Pre-insulated reducers are used to reduce diameters. They are prefabricated for pipe reduction of 1 to 3 diameters. The ends of the main pipe are not insulated over a length of 150 mm. Welds on the HDPE sheath are made in the factory. Nordic or DELFIN alarm wires can be inserted into the insulation upon request. With the standard wall thicknesses proposed, our reducers have a (...)

Heat-shrink end cap
Description : The DHEC is a heat-shrink part made from cross-linked polyolefins. The DHEC was developed to seal the cut end of the polyurethane foam insulation between the main pipe and the outer casing, on pre-insulated pipe networks. A DHEC must be used at each uninsulated interruption of the network (valve chamber, entering buildings, etc.) to prevent ingress of water inside the (...)

Wall Crossing
Description : Wall crossings are rubber seals used to connect all types of pipe on manholes, buildings or other concrete structures. They are made from SBR (styrene butadiene rubber), hardness 40 ± 5° IHR (indicative value). Wall crossings must be used at every feedthrough (valve chamber, entering buildings, etc.) so that the pre-insulated tube can expand through the wall without damage. (...)

Expansion pads
Descriptif : Expansion pads are used on bends and branches to absorb expansion movements. Pads allow the buried network to expand freely the first time it is put into service. The maximum expansion movement absorbed per pad layer is 30 mm. A maximum of 3 pad layers can be used per part. Expansion pads are located on the HDPE sheath and fixed with a plastic film in order to avoid a (...)
